GRECONVERSION project is about creating a positive e impact on the environment with concrete actions. Our project encompasses various activities aimed at fostering environmental sustainability. One of our key initiatives involves the installation of strategically placed recycling bins in six different buildings, reaching over 150 young people. Through hands-on experience, participants learn the importance of proper waste sorting and recycling, understanding what items can be recycled and how to clean and prepare them for recycling. We also provide information papers and essential guidelines to reinforce the importance of recycling and ensure participants are equipped with the knowledge to make a difference.
Additionally, we conduct weekly selection and monitoring of the recycling outcome to assess the effectiveness of our efforts. By tracking progress, we can make informed adjustments and improvements to our recycling practices. Our project extends beyond recycling as we emphasize the three R's, encouraging participants to reduce waste generation and embrace reuse as part of their sustainable lifestyle. Through educational seminars and workshops, we empower participants to become environmental advocates within their communities, driving positive change and inspiring others to join the movement.

Our mission is to instill the values of recycling, environmental awareness, and responsible waste management in young individuals, making them agents of change in their communities.
