At GRECONVERSION, we firmly believe that the power to create a sustainable future lies in the hands of our youth. By equipping young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need, we empower them to become catalysts for environmental change in their communities. Our project brings together passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a difference and shaping a better world.
Through a series of educational seminars, we have had the privilege of reaching out to a diverse range of participants, including students, educators, and community members. We are particularly proud to have included individuals from vulnerable social groups, as we believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future. These seminars have been a platform for sharing knowledge, raising awareness about environmental issues, and instilling a sense of responsibility towards our planet.
One of the key initiatives of Greconversion is the installation of eight recycle bins in six different buildings, creating accessible recycling points for more than 150 young people. These bins serve as a practical tool to promote proper waste management and educate participants on recycling practices. We emphasize the importance of correct sorting and disposal of recyclable materials, teaching participants what can and cannot be recycled, as well as the necessary steps to ensure the recycling process is effective and efficient.
To further support our mission, we have developed informative papers and guidelines that outline crucial rules for recycling. These materials serve as a reference for participants, reinforcing their understanding of sustainable waste management practices. Additionally, we are implementing a weekly selection and monitoring system to evaluate the outcome of our recycling efforts, enabling us to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate achievements along the way.
